About Us

Benjamin and Shauna Dranetz have dedicated their careers to public service. Both graduating from Arizona State University, Ben has spent the last 20 years in government service and leadership, while Shauna has been a committed counselor and teacher in higher education for over 15 years. In their work, their goal has been to help others meet their goals and achieve success, oftentimes in the face of personal and health challenges. 

Kristi Rhinehart holds a Masters degree in Counseling and is a licensed therapist in Sierra Vista, Arizona. She is passionate about engaging with her local community, providing quality mental health care to all who need it. With a background in healthcare and healthcare administration, her husband Asa is also in a unique position to be of service to those in need. 

In 2024, The Dranetzes and Rhineharts decided to take action on a long held desire to make a greater impact on their Arizona community, particularly in regards helping those who struggle with their mental health. They partnered with experienced therapists, counselors, and clinical social workers throughout Arizona, and the Desert Bloom Foundation was born.

The Desert Bloom Foundation seeks to give to those who are most in need in the Southwest, so that all have the opportunity to blossom.
